In early February 2015, Porsche officially unveiled the most extreme "Cayman" in the performance of the GT4, which will be publicly shown at the beginning of March on the catwalks of the Geneva Motor Show. By the end of the first month of spring 2015, the coupe will begin to come to customers, and applications for it are already being accepted, including in our country.

The "charged" Porsche Cayman GT4 looks brighter and sportier than the "just Cayman" in the standard version.

The front of the coupé is endowed with a pronounced spoiler lip that runs across the entire width of the body, a bumper with enlarged air intakes, a central air duct in front of the trunk lid and bi-xenon optics with black interior details.

A squatier silhouette is created by the increased wheelbase, reduced ground clearance and huge 20-inch platinum-colored rims. The rear of the GT4 features a fixed spoiler with aluminum struts and a powerful bumper with a diffuser bottom and a pair of black tailpipes in the center.

External dimensions of the body "G-ti-four" are as follows: 4438 mm in length, 1266 mm in height and 1817 mm in width. The distance between the axles of the car is 2484 mm, and the ground clearance is 105 mm. In running order, such a Porsche weighs 1340 kg, its gross weight is 300 kg higher.

In terms of architecture and overall design, the interior of the Porsche Cayman GT4 is unified with the base Cayman, although there are still some differences.

The interior of the "charged" coupe greets the driver with a sports steering wheel and a dashboard with a titanium tachometer background and yellow arrows. The seats with improved side support are upholstered in leather and Alcantara by default, while optional full carbon buckets are available. Instead of door handles, fabric hinges are used inside the supercar, and the interior is finished with high-quality materials.

Specifications. The Porsche Cayman GT4 is powered by a boxer 3.8-liter "six" with an aluminum cylinder block, direct fuel injection and VarioCam Plus technology. The engine output is increased to 385 horsepower at 7400 rpm and 420 Nm of torque at 4750-6000 rpm.
In combination with a six-speed manual gearbox, rear-wheel drive and Porsche Torque Vectoring (includes a rear differential lock - 27% in motion and 22% at the entrance), the engine provides the supercar with acceleration to the first hundred in 4.4 seconds and up to 295 km / h peak speed. Fuel consumption in the combined cycle is 10.3 liters per 100 km.

The GI-four is based on the standard Porsche Cayman, but has some technical differences: the front of the car is equipped with reinforced shock absorbers, attached by transverse and trailing arms, and at the rear - additional reinforcements and special fists. Fast deceleration is provided by 6-piston aluminum brakes with 380mm perforated discs in a circle.

Complete set and price. Buyers of the Porsche Cayman GT4 will cost from 4,576,000 rubles. For that kind of money, you get a supercar with a PTV system, 20-inch rims, a function for adjusting the stiffness of PASM shock absorbers, power accessories, head optics with a bi-xenon component, a set of passive and active safety technologies, air conditioning and high-quality finishing materials.
